Fees
HELBUS is a private business school that does not receive any government funding. It funds its operations by tuition fees that all students pay regardless of their background. HELBUS is unfortunately unable to offer any scholarships.
The fees below include a government Value Added Tax (VAT) of 25,5% that takes effect on September 1, 2024. Any payments made before this date will observe the previous VAT of 24%.
Finnish, EU and EEA-citizens
The tuition fee for Finns, EU and EEA citizens starting their MBA programme in the Academic Year 24/25 (September 2024, January and May 2025) is € 23 700 for the whole programme. This fee also applies to non-EU citizens, who have a residence permit in Finland for the whole duration of their studies for other, such as family reasons. Payment is in three equal instalments of € 7 900 each.

All students
- All students should have a laptop with MS Office installed and internet access. The tuition fee covers the tuition and a wide range of electronic learning materials. Textbooks are not included and rarely required in the MBA.
- HELBUS reserves the right to change the fees. All fees stated here include a VAT of 25,5%. If the VAT increases, the fees will increase respectively. If the VAT decreases, there will not be a corresponding decrease of the tuition fee.
- Confirmation fee for EU applicants: HELBUS may charge a one-time confirmation fee (500€) before the start of studies to secure the study place. The fee will be reimbursed in the first tuition fee payment. If the student does not start their studies, the paid confirmation fee will not be reimbursed.
- Cancellation fee policy: The student can cancel their participation in the programme by email before the due date of the tuition fee invoice. However, tuition fees that have already been paid will not be returned.
- If the student must retake a unit in the next year, the retake fee in Academic Year 2024/25 is € 2 125 per module (Finnish/EU students; VAT 25,5%). Details are found in the written contract signed by the student at the beginning of studies.
